A HUGE HELLO to dear ol VIVA!!!!
Tak update blog ke? Baby mcm mana? Heheheheh.......
Just got back from Pangkor. 5 day meeting with Bahagian Sumber Manusia (BSM) Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia. Ughh.... pening kepala. They’re doing this study on teachers and their teaching options (which subjects they specialize in). I won’t go into details on that.
In a nutshell, I was selected (because no one else wanted it) to be a part of the task force; together with 5 other teachers. This would mean that I’ll be going to Melaka in another 2 weeks to help them develop a system for this project. *sigh* Another week in a hotel.
Anyway, turns out, not only are they offering me to work with them in Melaka, seems like they’re offering me to be part of the task force permanently. Be a part of BSM and travel the country giving courses or talks to other teachers about the project.
And this could only mean that they’ll take me out from my school and therefore, I won’t be teaching, or see my kids anymore. How la?
Should I take this offer?
What have I got to lose?
List of Pros and Cons:
Pros:
- Good exposure / different surrounding
- Career advancement
- Travel
- Focus on only one job (most likely administration)
- Leave a school that doesn’t appreciate me.
Cons:
- Leave my kids behind
- Same salary
- Travel to and fro to Putrajaya
- Nak kawin!!!!!
- Will I have time to do my masters?
So what should I do???
I need help...
